We are so thrilled to have you join us on this journey of discovering the life-changing power of God’s Word through the Precious Promises Scripture Song Project. Whether you’re here to deepen your personal walk with Christ, strengthen your family’s spiritual foundation, or simply find encouragement for daily living, you’ve come to the right place!
Here’s a quick guide to help you get the most out of the Precious Promises books and resources:
1. Explore the Four Books
The Precious Promises series is thoughtfully divided into four books, each addressing a key area of life:
- Thoughts and Feelings: Find peace and hope as you navigate emotions and mental challenges.
- Salvation: Dive into the heart of the Gospel and God’s plan for your redemption.
- Relationships: Strengthen your connections with family, friends, and God.
- Practical Living: Discover biblical wisdom for everyday decisions and challenges.
Each book contains 10 chapters, with 5 Scripture passages per chapter. These passages are paired with Scripture songs to help you memorize and apply God’s Word in a meaningful way.
2. Engage with Scripture Songs
Music is a powerful tool for hiding God’s Word in your heart. Each Scripture passage in the books has a corresponding song to make memorization enjoyable and impactful. There are two ways to listen to the music.
- Stream – You can listen directly on the website. Once logged in you can access you can click Music to play all 200 songs. The Sub-menu items under Music are all four volumes. (Salvation) (Practical Living) (Thoughts & Feelings) (Relationships)
- Download– You can download the songs to your preferred device. (Download Music & Books) Here is a list of instructions on how to set them up on your device (Instructions)
3. Make It Interactive
We believe learning God’s Word should be engaging and fun! Here are some ways to interact with the content:
- Family Worship Activities: Use the books to guide your family worship time. Try coming up with 5 real life situations and discuss which Scriptures apply.
- Scripture Memory Challenges: Challenge yourself or your family to memorize a verse each week. Use the songs to make it easier!
- Discussion Prompts: Each chapter includes themes that are perfect for family or small group discussions. Share your thoughts and grow together.
4. Apply Scripture to Daily Life
The Precious Promises books are designed to help you connect Scripture to your everyday experiences. For example:
- When you’re feeling anxious, turn to the Thoughts and Feelings book for verses about God’s peace.
- If you’re navigating a difficult relationship, the Relationships book offers wisdom and encouragement.
- Facing a tough decision? The Practical Living book provides guidance rooted in God’s Word.
- Feeling unloved? Open to God’s love in the Salvation book
5. Stay Connected

Our hope is to be able to connect and build our Scripture song community not only online but also in person.
7. The Future of Precious Promises
We (Matt & Lori Dooley) are so excited that you have joined us. We are so passionate about putting the Scriptures to song. We find it to be such a practical way to learn and apply the Word of God. We have worked really hard to get where we are but the project is not complete. Our desire is to use this platform to continue to add value to what we have already created. That includes resources such as songbooks, games and sharing resources, blog posts, etc. We plan on posting relevant valuable blog posts on a regular basis. In addition we are finishing up the songbooks and will add them to the website soon. We are also working on several games and sharing resources. These will all be added to the website over the next several months and will be available to you at no extra costs.
