How it started…
I found myself clinging to the floor of my bedroom questioning… everything.
I had grown up in a good family and been given a solid Christian foundation.
I had once thought I had all the answers, but now I was ravished with health problems.
No one knew how to help me. I knew I couldn’t live like this.
I was severely underweight, sick, and near death. Eating was torture. I couldn’t even eat a bowl of cherries or a banana without severe stomach pain.
Yet no one could find anything wrong with me.
“God, am I going to die?” I prayed.

I then looked down at the pages of my Bible which jumped out at me so clearly.
“O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.
O LORD, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit… ”
Psalm 30:2-3
When everything around me spelled darkness, defeat, and dealth…
God spoke personally to me through His Word that I would live!
Was I going to believe God’s promise?
Or I going to believe what I saw and what I felt?
God’s promises did not fail me. God did heal me.
Not only did he heal me, less than a year later he gave me a healthy nine pound baby girl!
Now that I was well, I had a huge burden on my heart to teach Scriptures to my children in a very practical way.
I wanted them to not only memorize Bible verses but know how to apply them during the various challenges they would face in life.
This is me and miracle baby, Heidi, exactly one year after my lowest weight.
In one of the most faith-building experiences I’ve ever been through, God helped me put together a series of illustrated Bible Promise books with devotionals, stories, and Scripture songs that match each verse.
Music was never something I saw myself doing!
With the help of my husband and several talented musicians, I was able to find my passion for music and songwriting.
Despite encountering challenges along the way, I persevered and learned how to play the piano and write my own Scripture songs.
Now, I have composed around 20 songs and counting!
My children and friends have even joined me in recording them. Through prayer and determination, I was able to start this website and ministry to share my love for music and Scripture with others.
